SEE ALSO...

AMBRA1 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects AMBRA1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AMBRA1 Antibody (G-6) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AMBRA1, also known as Activating molecule in BECN1-regulated autophagy protein 1, WDR94, or KIAA1736, is a 1,298 amino acid protein characterized by three WD repeats, which are essential for function. These WD repeats form a tertiary propeller structure crucial for AMBRA1′s role in various cellular processes, including autophagy regulation, cell proliferation, and survival during neuronal development. AMBRA1 localizes to cytoplasmic vesicles, where AMBRA1 plays a significant role in controlling protein turnover and facilitating nervous system development. AMBRA1′s importance in autophagy highlights potential as a therapeutic target in neurodegenerative diseases, where autophagy dysregulation is often observed. Multiple AMBRA1 isoforms arise from alternative splicing events, potentially contributing to diverse functional roles in cellular homeostasis and stress responses.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with AMBRA1 (G-6): sc-398204?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
