α-synuclein Antibody (211) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to target the human α-synuclein protein, also known as SNCA, synuclein, or NACP. Anti-α-synuclein antibody (211) recognizes the epitope encompassing amino acids 121-125 of α-synuclein, facilitating detection through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP) applications. α-synuclein is a pivotal protein primarily expressed in neuronal cell bodies and synapses, where α-synuclein plays a crucial role in synaptic regulation and neuronal plasticity, essential for maintaining proper brain function and facilitating communication between neurons. α-synuclein is deeply involved in synaptic vesicle trafficking and neurotransmitter release, processes vital for efficient neuronal signaling. α-synuclein is implicated in the pathogenesis of several neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson′s disease and Alzheimer′s disease, where abnormal aggregation is a hallmark of disease progression. Additionally, α-synuclein expression is modulated during hematopoietic cell differentiation, indicating broader significance in cellular processes beyond the nervous system. α-synuclein monoclonal antibody (211) is available in both unconjugated form and various conjugated forms, such as horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing researchers with versatile options for different experimental needs. α-synuclein (211) antibody is an invaluable tool for scientists investigating the molecular mechanisms of synuclein-related disorders and exploring the physiological functions of α-synuclein in both the nervous system and hematopoietic cells.
