ALDH1A2 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ALDH1A2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ALDH1A2 (G-2) antibody is available as non-conjugated anti-ALDH1A2 antibody. ALDH1A2, also known as retinal dehydrogenase 2, plays a crucial role in retinoic acid biosynthesis, a vital signaling molecule involved in numerous biological processes, including embryonic development, cell differentiation, and epithelial tissue maintenance. This enzyme catalyzes retinaldehyde conversion to retinoic acid, essential for regulating gene expression during development and influencing cellular functions in adults. Proper functioning of ALDH1A2 is particularly important in retinoic acid signaling, as dysregulation can lead to developmental disorders and has been implicated in various cancers.
