AlaRS Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects alanyl-tRNA synthetase (AlaRS) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AlaRS is a crucial enzyme that catalyzes the ATP-dependent attachment of alanine to its corresponding tRNA, forming alanyl-tRNA(Ala), which is essential for protein synthesis. This process ensures accurate translation of genetic information into functional proteins, thereby maintaining cellular integrity and function. AlaRS consists of 968 amino acids and is located in the cytoplasm, where AlaRS operates as a monomer. Proper functioning of AlaRS is critical, as defects in AlaRS gene can lead to misfolded protein accumulation, resulting in cellular stress and potential cell death. Anti-AlaRS antibody (E-9) enables researchers to effectively study AlaRS expression and localization, contributing to a deeper understanding of AlaRS role in cellular processes and implications of AlaRS dysfunction in various diseases.
