SEE ALSO...

AKR1C19 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects AKR1C19 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-AKR1C19 antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AKR1C19, also known as aldo-keto reductase family 1, member C19, is a crucial enzyme involved in the metabolism of endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs and reactive aldehydes. AKR1C19 plays a vital role in detoxifying harmful substances and regulating steroid hormone levels, which can influence various physiological processes. AKR1C19 is encoded by a gene located on mouse chromosome 13, within a cluster of hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases, and consists of 323 amino acids. AKR1C19 interacts with other members of the aldo-keto reductase family, enhancing functional versatility and participating in various metabolic pathways crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental stressors.
