Act1 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Act1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Act1 antibody (D-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Act1 protein plays a crucial role in regulating NFκB signaling pathway, which is essential for controlling gene expression involved in immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Specifically, Act1 functions as a scaffold protein facilitating interaction between IKKγ and other signaling molecules, thereby promoting activation of NFκB and JNK pathways in response to pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNFα. This coordination is vital for cellular response to stress and inflammation, making Act1 a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis and mediating effects of various stressors.
