SEE ALSO...

Act1 Antibody (WW-18) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Act1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Act1, also known as NFκB activator 1 or CIKS (connection to IKK and SAPK/JNK), plays a crucial role in the regulation of the NFκB and JNK signaling pathways, which are essential for immune and inflammatory responses, as well as cell survival under stress conditions. Act1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Act1 associates with IKKγ, facilitating the activation of NFκB and JNK pathways. The proper functioning of Act1 is vital, as Act1 serves as a coordinator between these two critical stress-induced signaling pathways, ensuring that cells can effectively respond to various stimuli. Act1 (WW-18) antibody is available in a non-conjugated form, making Act1 (WW-18) antibody a versatile tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of cellular signaling and the role of Act1 in health and disease.

Hi, I bought a act-1 antibody from your company. Do you know the recognition region of this antibody? Thank you

Asked by: Weifeng
Thank you for your question. This antibody was raised against recombinant Act1 of human origin. The exact binding epitope has not been mapped. If you have any further questions, please contact your local distributor, or technical service

What is the recommended antigen retrieval for this antibody when doing IHC with paraffin-embedded sections?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. We recommend sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, with heat for the antigen retrieval step. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
