Ac-lysine Antibody (AKL5C1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ac-lysine protein across various species through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Anti-Ac-lysine antibody (AKL5C1) is available in non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, including agarose and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Lysine acetylation, the modification recognized by Ac-lysine (AKL5C1) antibody, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and protein function, occurring in core histones, transcription factors, and numerous other proteins. This reversible modification is regulated by the dynamic interplay between acetyltransferases and deacetylases, which respond to cellular signals. Acetyl-lysine residues create specific docking sites for bromodomain-containing proteins, such as Gcn5, PCAF, TAF1, and CBP, which are essential for recruiting transcriptional co-activators and modulating chromatin structure. Histone acetylation, particularly N-terminal tails of histone H3, can be influenced by inhibitors like Trichostatin A, which enhances acetylation levels, and by external factors such as ethanol, which increases acetylation at specific lysine residues in a dose-dependent manner. Ac-lysine (AKL5C1) monoclonal antibody serves as an invaluable tool for studying gene regulation mechanisms and lysine acetylation′s functional implications in various biological contexts.

Ac-lysine 抗体 (AKL5C1): sc-32268这个抗体如果不冻起来的话,稀释一抗是要用专门的一抗稀释液吗,我可以用牛奶稀释然后加叠氮化钠吗?

感谢您的提问,这支抗体的保存条件是4℃,不可以冰冻。稀释可以用通用稀释液、稀释缓冲液或封闭试剂。建议您现配现用,不推荐稀释后长期保存。谢谢。 Thank you for your question. The storage condition of this antibody is 4℃ and cannot be frozen. Dilution can be done with a universal diluent, dilution buffer, or blocking buffer. It is recommended that dilute as you use. It is not recommended to keep it after dilution for a long time. thank you

Is it possible to get a sample aliquot to determine if this product can detect some of my peptides before I commit to buying. Or a sample that can be less than 70$

What is the species reactivity of this antibody? Can it be used with human samples?

Thank you for your inquiry. This antibody is not species specific but can be used detection of acetylated lysine residues in any sample, including human.
