52 kDa Ro/SSA Antibody (D-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the 52 kDa Ro/SSA protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-52 kDa Ro/SSA antibody (D-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 52 kDa Ro/SSA protein, also known as tripartite motif containing 21, plays a crucial role in immune response, particularly in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjögren′s syndrome, where autoantibodies recognize 52 kDa Ro/SSA in many patients. 52 kDa Ro/SSA protein primarily localizes in cellular cytoplasm and nucleus, regulating RNA metabolism and immune response through interactions with RNA molecules and other proteins to form essential ribonucleoprotein complexes.
