14-3-3 ζ Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects 14-3-3 ζ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-14-3-3 ζ antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. 14-3-3 ζ protein plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes such as apoptosis, mitogenic signaling, and cell-cycle checkpoints, which are particularly relevant in cancer biology. As part of a family of seven isoforms, including 14-3-3 β, γ, ε, ζ, η, θ, and σ, 14-3-3 proteins function by forming dimers that create two binding sites for ligand proteins, facilitating interactions that may not occur otherwise. These proteins primarily recognize a consensus binding motif characterized by serine/threonine phosphorylation, allowing them to regulate a wide array of cellular functions. 14-3-3 ζ protein′s ability to sequester proteins in the cytoplasm, occupy interaction domains, and modulate enzymatic activity underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Disruption of 14-3-3 ζ expression can lead to various pathological conditions, highlighting its significance in cellular signaling pathways and disease mechanisms.
