14-3-3 θ Antibody (3B9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects 14-3-3 θ in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 14-3-3 θ is a member of the 14-3-3 protein family, which plays a crucial role in regulating numerous cellular processes, particularly in cancer biology. 14-3-3 θ is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where 14-3-3 θ acts as a key regulator of signal transduction pathways by binding to phosphorylated serine and threonine residues on target proteins. The cytoplasmic localization of 14-3-3 θ enables modulation of various signaling cascades, including those involved in cell growth, survival, and apoptosis. Through sequestering target proteins in the cytoplasm, 14-3-3 θ prevents protein degradation and influences protein activity, thereby impacting critical cellular functions. Dysregulation of 14-3-3 θ expression or function can lead to aberrant signaling and contribute to the development of various diseases, including cancer, making 14-3-3 θ an important target for research and therapeutic interventions.
