Tuberin Antibody (B-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects tuberin protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-tuberin antibody (B-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tuberin, also known as Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) subunit 2, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating cell growth and proliferation. Tuberin (B-5) monoclonal antibody serves as a key component of the TSC complex, which acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway.
