SEE ALSO...

MyoD Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect Myogenic Differentiation 1 (MyoD), also known as MRF1, a pivotal transcription factor within the Myogenic Regulatory Factors (MRFs) family that includes myogenin, Myf5, and MRF4. Anti-MyoD antibody (E-1) is raised against amino acids 1-318 of mouse MyoD, targeting a region that encompasses the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domains, which are essential for dimerization with E proteins and binding to E-box sequences in DNA. The structural configuration of MyoD, particularly its bHLH domains, is critical for its role in regulating the transcription of muscle-specific genes, thereby driving muscle cell differentiation and development. Located in the nucleus, MyoD facilitates the activation of genes necessary for muscle regeneration by interacting with E proteins such as E2A, IF2, and HEB. MyoD monoclonal antibody (E-1) is recommended for use in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) applications in both mouse and rat species. Available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, anti-MyoD antibody (E-1) offers versatility for various experimental protocols, making MyoD monoclonal antibody (E-1) a valuable tool for researchers exploring the molecular mechanisms of myogenesis, muscle biology, and related fields.
