ECEL1 Activators

ECEL1 activators typically function by stimulating the production and release of endothelins, which serve as substrates for ECEL1. The more available the endothelins, the more ECEL1 can process these and increase its peptidase activity. This is usually achieved by these compounds either directly influencing endothelin production or indirectly affecting cellular signaling pathways that lead to endothelin production.
