SHISA7 Activators

SHISA7 Activators is a group of chemical entities that interact with the GABAergic system, which could indirectly influence the activity of the SHISA7 protein. These chemicals do not directly activate SHISA7 but can affect the GABA type A receptors, which are closely associated with the protein's regulatory function. As such, compounds like diazepam, which bind to and modulate the activity of GABA_ARs, could indirectly influence the regulatory role of SHISA7 on these receptors.

Neurosteroids such as allopregnanolone also modulate GABA_ARs and, in doing so, could alter the activity of SHISA7.
