Shank 1 Inhibitors

Shank 1 inhibitors are molecules that specifically target and modulate the activity of the Shank 1 protein, a critical scaffolding protein found within the postsynaptic density (PSD) of excitatory synapses in neurons. Shank proteins, including Shank 1, are part of a larger family of postsynaptic density proteins, which are involved in the organization and regulation of synaptic signaling complexes.
