SEMA4A Activators

SEMA4A Activators encompass a selection of chemical compounds that facilitate the enhancement of SEMA4A's role in cellular signaling pathways. The activation of protein kinase C by Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate directly influences SEMA4A by modulating proteins in pathways where SEMA4A is a critical player. Similarly, Forskolin and Rolipram, by increasing intracellular cAMP levels, indirectly augment SEMA4A's functional activity through the activation of PKA, which then may phosphorylate proteins within SEMA4A's purview. Inhibitors like PD 98059, SP600125, and U0126, which target MEK and JNK enzymes, could also pivot cellular signaling in favor of Semaphorin-4A pathways, thereby boosting its role in guiding neurons and regulating immune responses. Collectively, these Semaphorin-4A Activators exert targeted effects on a variety of signaling pathways to bolster the functional activity of Semaphorin-4A without altering its expression levels directly.
