Gas6 Activators

Gas6, an acronym for "growth arrest-specific 6," is a protein ubiquitously expressed in various tissues and serves as a ligand for the TAM (Tyro3, Axl, and MerTK) receptor tyrosine kinases. These receptors, upon activation by Gas6, play a pivotal role in multiple cellular processes, including cell survival, proliferation, adhesion, and phagocytosis. Gas6 itself is a vitamin K-dependent protein, meaning it requires post-translational gamma-carboxylation in the presence of vitamin K to attain full activity.
