TERT抗体（C-12）是一种IgG2a κ小鼠单克隆TERT抗体，可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的TERT。TERT抗体（C-12）既有偶联形式也有非偶联形式的抗TERT抗体。端粒酶是一种RNA依赖的DNA聚合酶，能催化端粒重复序列添加到染色体末端。在大多数人类体细胞中，端粒酶活性无法检测，端粒随着细胞连续分裂而缩短。然而，在永生化细胞和许多人类肿瘤中可以检测到端粒酶活性。已经克隆出两种候选的哺乳动物端粒酶蛋白。人类TP1（端粒酶相关蛋白1），在大鼠中也被称为TLP1（端粒酶蛋白组分1），与四膜虫p80端粒酶蛋白同源，并已被证明与哺乳动物端粒酶RNA相互作用。人类TERT（端粒酶逆转录酶），也被称为hEST2（永远更短的端粒），与来自Euplotes的p123端粒酶蛋白和酵母Est2蛋白同源。TERT mRNA的表达已被证明与各种细胞系中的端粒酶活性相关。

I need to use an antibody to detect the protein in samples of equine origin. Do you know if this mouse monoclonal antibody will work?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not workingI tried a sample tube of TERT Ab. With 1:500 dilution of this TERT Ab in WB, I had blank result. Technical support lady told to use 1:100 dilution. I am quite disappointed at the reactivity of this Ab, but might try.
