Hi. I have your antibody and I have tried it in IF and ChIP with good sucess. I have trouble though with Western blot. I am detecting an unspesific band around 36 kDa and one very fade band around 18 kDa. I can provide pictures if you want.

Hello, you show that this antibody was tested (among others) on the C32 cell line. Because there are two cell lines known under this name, melanoma and colorectal cancer, could you please specify which one you used? Many thanks!

Hi, I received this antibody for immunostaining. However, it shows that this antibody has conjugated with Alexa 488 so I wanted to make sure if I still need secondary antibody (fluorescence based) for my immunostaining? Thank you!

Does the p21 Waf1/Cip1/CDKN1A Antibody (F-5): sc-6246 recognize a specific amino acid sequence of the p21 protein or does it recognize the total protein?

Thank you for your question. This antibody was raised against full-length protein, but recognizes an epitope much shorter than that. No epitope mapping has been performed on this particular antibody as of yet, so we do not have any information on the exact binding site.
