I am using ASL (B-1): sc-166787 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor performanceI have recently purchased this antibody and it's not shown a very good performance. I have used it for fluorescence WB where it showed a faint band for ASL and a lot of unspecific background. I have tested the antibody for IF in fixed Hap1 cells, but the fluorescence signal was incredibly low. Not impressed at all.
