    SEE ALSO...

Cbl-3 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Cbl-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Cbl-3 antibody (F-2) is available as the non-conjugated form. Cbl-3, also known as RING finger protein 57, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, essential for the ubiquitination process that regulates protein degradation, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and signal transduction. This regulation is particularly important in cancer, as aberrations in ubiquitination can lead to uncontrolled cell growth and tumorigenesis. Cbl-3 is closely related to other Cbl family proteins, including Cbl-b, and is expressed in various tissues, including hematopoietic cells, where Cbl-3 may interact with signaling proteins to modulate their activity. Cbl-3 gene is located on human chromosome 11q23, a region frequently implicated in leukemias due to involvement in chromosomal translocations and deletions. Cbl-3′s ability to interact with specific proteins and role in ubiquitination make Cbl-3 a significant target for research into cancer biology and therapeutic interventions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390648 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
