ZPR1 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ZPR1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZPR1 Antibody (C-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZPR1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in the context of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) pathway. ZPR1 contains zinc finger motifs that facilitate binding to the intracellular tyrosine kinase domain of EGFR, which is essential for modulating receptor activity. Upon stimulation with epidermal growth factor, ZPR1′s affinity for EGFR decreases, resulting in ZPR1 translocation to the nucleus. This dynamic interaction underscores ZPR1′s importance in regulating cellular responses to growth factors, as well as potential implications in cancer biology, where aberrations in EGFR signaling pathway are often observed.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398241 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
