ZNF827 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF827 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF827 (F-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF827, also known as zinc finger protein 827, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 1,081 amino acids and features nine C2H2-type zinc fingers, which are essential for transcriptional regulation. ZNF827 exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms, highlighting functional diversity and potential regulatory mechanisms in gene expression. ZNF827 gene is located on human chromosome 4q31.2, a region comprising approximately 6% of the human genome and associated with various genetic disorders, including Huntington′s disease and achondroplasia. ZNF827′s presence in the nucleus suggests involvement in critical cellular processes, such as cell differentiation and response to environmental stimuli, making ZNF827 an important target for research in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
