SEE ALSO...

ZNF704 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF704 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF704 (B-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF704, also known as Zinc finger protein 704, is a crucial nuclear protein consisting of 412 amino acids and features a single C2H2-type zinc finger domain. ZNF704 plays a significant role in transcriptional regulation, as ZNF704 is involved in recruiting histone-modifying proteins through interaction with KAP1, which is essential for chromatin remodeling and gene expression modulation. The gene encoding ZNF704 is located on human chromosome 8, a region that spans nearly 146 million bases and encodes approximately 800 genes, with implications in various genetic disorders such as Pfeiffer syndrome, congenital hypothyroidism, and Waardenburg syndrome. ZNF704′s ability to influence transcriptional activity underscores its importance in cellular processes and potential implications in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
