    SEE ALSO...

ZNF395 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZNF395 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZNF395 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZNF395, also known as Zinc finger protein 395, PBF (Papillomavirus-binding factor), and HDBP2 (Huntington disease gene regulatory region-binding protein 2), is a 513 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in gene regulation. As a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF395 contains a single C2H2-type zinc finger domain, which is essential for binding specific DNA sequences. This binding capability is particularly important as ZNF395 interacts with the 3′-CCGG-5′ sequence within the papillomavirus promoter, adjacent to a RUNX1-binding motif, thereby influencing transcriptional activity. Additionally, ZNF395 has been shown to bind to a critical seven base pair region within the promoter of the Huntington′s disease gene, which is vital for the expression of this gene associated with neurodegeneration. The widespread expression of ZNF395 suggests a shuttling function between the nucleus and cytoplasm, further underscoring potential regulatory roles in various cellular processes.
