ZKSCAN3 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZKSCAN3 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZKSCAN3 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZKSCAN3, also known as Zinc finger protein with KRAB and SCAN domains 3, is a 583 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in transcription regulation, particularly in cancer biology. As a member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZKSCAN3 features seven C2H2-type zinc fingers, one KRAB domain, and one SCAN box domain, which are essential for DNA-binding capabilities and transcriptional regulatory functions. ZKSCAN3 has been implicated in colorectal cancer, with studies showing that overexpression is associated with invasive tumor types and that the chromosomal region encoding ZKSCAN3 is often amplified in colorectal cancer cases. Knockdown of ZKSCAN3 mRNA has been linked to impaired anchorage-independent growth and reduced tumor growth in colon cancer cell lines, highlighting potential as a therapeutic target.
