    SEE ALSO...

ZKSCAN2 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ZKSCAN2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZKSCAN2 (F-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ZKSCAN2, also known as ZNF694, is a crucial member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, characterized by six C2H2-type zinc fingers, one KRAB A domain, and one SCAN box domain, which play significant roles in transcriptional regulation. Located primarily in the nucleus, ZKSCAN2 functions as a transcriptional repressor, influencing gene expression and cellular processes. ZKSCAN2′s importance is underscored by involvement in various biological pathways, including those related to developmental processes and disease states. Notably, the gene encoding ZKSCAN2 is situated on human chromosome 16, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome and Crohn′s disease, highlighting potential implications in health and disease. Alternative splicing of the ZKSCAN2 gene results in two distinct transcripts, further emphasizing the complexity and regulatory potential in cellular functions.
