YMER Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects YMER protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). YMER (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. YMER protein, also known as CCDC50 (coiled-coil domain containing 50), C3orf6, or DFNA44, is a 306 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in regulating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathways. YMER exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, co-expressed in various tissues such as pancreas, placenta, liver, lung, and kidney, with isoform 1 being predominantly found in heart, brain, and skeletal muscle. Multiple ubiquitin-interacting domains and tyrosine-phosphorylated residues in YMER allow negative regulation of NFκB signaling pathway, which is essential for controlling immune responses and cell survival. YMER gene is located on human chromosome 3q28, and mutations can lead to deafness autosomal dominant type 44 (DFNA44), highlighting YMER′s importance in both cellular signaling and human health.
