YIPF2 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects YIPF2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). YIPF2 Antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. YIPF2, also known as FinGER2, is a 316 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in membrane trafficking and vesicle biogenesis, functioning as a binding partner for Rab GTPases. This interaction is vital for proper transport of proteins and lipids within cells, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating communication between organelles. YIPF2 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 19, a region known for its high gene density, housing approximately 1,400 genes, including several members of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The presence of YIPF2 in various cellular compartments underscores its importance in cellular processes, making anti-YIPF2 antibody (A-10) an invaluable tool for researchers studying membrane dynamics and related pathways in mouse, rat, and human models.
