SEE ALSO...

Yersinia pestis F1 Antibody (YPF19) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the Yersinia pestis F1 protein of Yersinia pestis origin by western blotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). Yersinia pestis F1 (YPF19) antibody is available as the non-conjugated anti-Yersinia pestis F1 antibody. The Yersinia pestis F1 protein plays a crucial role in the bacterium′s virulence, as F1 protein is a key component of the protective capsule that helps the pathogen evade the host′s immune response. F1 protein′s ability to inhibit phagocytosis is vital for the survival of Yersinia pestis within the host, allowing Yersinia pestis to persist and cause disease. The presence of F1 protein is particularly important during the infection process, as F1 protein enhances the bacterium′s ability to resist clearance by immune cells, thereby facilitating the establishment of infection. Understanding the function of F1 protein is essential for developing targeted therapies and vaccines against plague, a disease that has historically caused significant mortality.
