SEE ALSO...

WDR61 Antibody (WW-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects WDR61 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WDR61 antibody (WW-5) is available as the non-conjugated format. WDR61, also known as SKI8 or REC14, is a 305 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of seven WD-repeats, which are structural motifs that typically form a distinctive propeller-like tertiary structure. This unique structure facilitates WDR61′s role in various cellular processes, including RNA surveillance and transcriptional regulation, by serving as a subunit of the human Ski and PAF complexes. These complexes are integral to the regulation of gene expression and maintenance of cellular homeostasis, highlighting WDR61′s importance in ensuring proper cellular function. WDR61′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in RNA processing and signal transduction further underscores its significance in cellular regulatory mechanisms.

I am using WDR61 (WW-5): sc-100897 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
