    SEE ALSO...

WDR49 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects WDR49 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). WDR49 Antibody (E-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WDR49, also known as WD repeat-containing protein 49, consists of 697 amino acids and features eight WD repeats, which are structural motifs that facilitate protein-protein interactions. These WD repeats are crucial for WDR49′s role in assembling multi-protein complexes that regulate various cellular processes, including signal transduction and transcriptional regulation. The presence of these repeats allows WDR49 to participate in essential regulatory mechanisms, influencing cell cycle control and apoptosis. The gene encoding WDR49 is located on human chromosome 3, a region that encompasses approximately 214 million bases and contains over 1,100 genes, including those associated with cancer. Understanding WDR49′s function and interactions is vital for elucidating its role in cellular homeostasis and disease mechanisms, making anti-WDR49 antibody (E-9) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these pathways.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390195 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
