Datasheets
  • WDR33 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ WDR33 antibody, cited in 5 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 15-41 at the N-terminus of WDR33 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of WDR33 of mouse, rat, human and origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and avian
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for WDR33 Antibody (D-1) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with WDR33 Antibody (D-1) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

WDR33 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects WDR33 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WDR33 antibody (D-1) is available as the non-conjugated form. WDR33, also known as WD repeat domain 33, is a 1,336 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in DNA recombination and cytodifferentiation, making WDR33 essential for proper cellular function and development. WDR33 is characterized by a unique structure, which includes one collagen-like domain and seven WD repeats, allowing WDR33 to participate in various regulatory mechanisms such as chromatin assembly, cell cycle control, and RNA processing. The presence of WD repeats, which are conserved motifs that typically form a tertiary propeller structure, is significant as these motifs facilitate protein-protein interactions that are vital for cellular signaling and function. WDR33 is highly expressed in the testis and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2, a region associated with several genetic diseases, including Harlequin ichthyosis and Alström syndrome. WDR33′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in these pathways underscores WDR33′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and highlights WDR33′s potential as a target for therapeutic interventions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374466 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
