    SEE ALSO...

WAVE Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects WAVE protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-WAVE antibody (F-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WAVE, also known as WASP Family Member 1 and SCAR (Suppressor of Cell Agitation Response), plays a crucial role in actin polymerization and cytoskeletal organization, which are essential for various cellular processes such as cell motility, shape, and signaling. WAVE1, a member of the WAVE family, is primarily expressed in the brain and regulates membrane ruffling by inducing actin filament cluster formation in response to GTP binding and activating Rac. This regulation is vital for dynamic reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, necessary for processes like cell migration and cellular structure formation. WAVE proteins interact with the Arp2/3 complex to promote actin filament formation, facilitating cellular responses to external stimuli. WAVE presence in various tissues underscores importance in both normal physiological functions and potential pathological conditions, making anti-WAVE antibody (F-10) a valuable tool for researchers studying actin dynamics and related cellular mechanisms.
