VPS4B Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects VPS4B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-VPS4B antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VPS4B, a member of the class E vacuolar protein sorting (vps) family, plays a crucial role in intracellular protein trafficking, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and proper receptor sorting in the endocytic pathway. VPS4B protein, along with its ortholog VPS4A, forms heteromeric complexes that are vital for the function of the endosomal sorting complex required for transport (ESCRT) machinery, which is involved in the formation of multivesicular bodies.
