DUSP22 Antibody (9J2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DUSP22 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DUSP22 antibody (9J2) is available as a non-conjugated format. DUSP22 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular signaling pathways by acting as a dual specificity phosphatase, which selectively dephosphorylates both phosphothreonine and phosphotyrosine residues on mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs). This function helps modulate MAPK superfamily members′ activity, including ERK2 and JNK, thereby influencing various physiological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. DUSP22 is predominantly expressed in thymus, where DUSP22 is essential for T cell development, but DUSP22 is also found in monocytes and lymphocytes, highlighting DUSP22′s importance in immune responses. By regulating MAPK signaling, DUSP22 contributes to cellular homeostasis maintenance and prevention of pathological conditions, making DUSP22 a significant target for research in cancer and other diseases.
