Vav2 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Vav2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Vav2 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Vav2 functions as a guanosine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RhoG and RhoA-like GTPases, facilitating GDP to GTP exchange, which activates these GTPases involved in cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and proliferation. Vav2 expression is restricted to hematopoietic cells, including erythroid, lymphoid, and myeloid lineages, suggesting a pivotal role in immune responses and hematopoiesis. Vav2′s interaction with tyrosine kinases through SH2 domain indicates involvement in transducing signals from tyrosine phosphorylation to transcriptional regulation, making Vav2 significant in oncogenic signaling pathways. Vav family proteins, including Vav2, were initially identified due to oncogenic potential, and structural motifs, such as N-terminal helix-loop-helix domain and leucine zipper, are critical for function and regulation.
