VASP Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects VASP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-VASP antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The vaso-dilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular architecture by interacting with actin filaments, which is essential for various cellular processes such as migration, adhesion, and shape maintenance. VASP is particularly important in platelets, where VASP contributes to cytoskeletal organization and is involved in the regulation of actin dynamics during platelet activation.
