SEE ALSO...

USP40 Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects USP40 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP40 Antibody (G-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP40, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 40, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which maintains cellular homeostasis by regulating protein degradation and turnover. USP40 functions as a deubiquitinating enzyme, catalyzing ubiquitin removal from target proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as signal transduction, transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle progression. USP40 is broadly expressed and exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, making USP40 a significant player in cellular signaling pathways. USP40 has been identified as a novel target for late-onset Parkinson′s disease, highlighting USP40′s potential role in neurodegenerative disorders. Using anti-USP40 antibody (G-8) in research can provide valuable insights into ubiquitin-mediated regulation and its implications in health and disease.
