USP32 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects USP32 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP32 (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP32, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 32 or NY-REN-60, is a 1,604 amino acid protein characterized by one dual specificity phosphatase domain and three EF-hand calcium binding domains, which are crucial for enzymatic activity. USP32 is primarily localized to cellular membranes in a lipid-anchored manner and is expressed across all normal tissues, highlighting a fundamental role in cellular homeostasis. USP32 plays a vital role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, catalyzing the conversion of a ubiquitin C-terminal thioester to free ubiquitin and a thiol, a process essential for regulating various cellular functions, including signal transduction, transcriptional activation, and cell cycle progression. USP32′s ability to modulate the ubiquitination status of target proteins underscores an importance in maintaining cellular integrity and responding to stress signals, making USP32 a significant focus of research in understanding disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.
