USF-1 Antibody (J-39) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects USF-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USF-1, a member of the cellular upstream stimulatory factor family, plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation by binding to specific DNA sequences, particularly the core sequence CACGTG found in the adenovirus late promoter. Anti-USF-1 antibody (J-39) enables research into binding mechanisms essential for regulating genes involved in cell growth and differentiation. USF-1′s ability to form homo- and heterodimers with USF-2 allows for a versatile regulatory mechanism that adapts to specific needs of different cell types, as expression levels and ratios of these dimers vary across tissues. USF-1 contains a helix-loop-helix domain facilitating DNA interaction, as well as a leucine repeat enhancing binding efficiency. Understanding USF-1 dynamics and interactions is vital for elucidating complex regulatory networks governing gene expression in response to various stimuli, making USF-1 (J-39) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for studying transcriptional regulation and its implications in health and disease.
