USF-1 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects USF-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USF-1 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USF-1 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression, particularly in response to cellular signals, by binding to specific DNA sequences and facilitating target gene transcription. This function is vital for processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and stress response, making USF-1 an important factor in maintaining cellular homeostasis and influencing developmental pathways. USF-1 interacts with other proteins, including the c-Myc oncogene, which further underscores USF-1′s significance in transcriptional regulation and potential implications in cancer biology. USF-1′s ability to form homo- and heterodimers with USF-2 allows for a versatile regulatory mechanism, adapting to specific needs of different cell types and conditions.

Can USF-1 (G-2): sc-390027 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

Thank you for your question. Yes, USF-1 (G-2): sc-390027 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
