UBE2C Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects UBE2C protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). UBE2C Antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. UBE2C protein, also known as UBCH10 in humans, plays a critical role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, specifically as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that facilitates the transfer of ubiquitin to target proteins. This process is essential for the regulation of protein degradation, particularly during the cell cycle, as UBE2C is involved in the anaphase-promoting complex (APC) that orchestrates the degradation of key cell-cycle regulators, thereby ensuring proper mitotic progression and G1 phase transition. The dysregulation of UBE2C has been implicated in various cancers, making UBE2C a potential therapeutic target for cancer treatment. Anti-UBE2C antibody (B-8) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of cell cycle regulation and the role of ubiquitination in cancer biology.
