SEE ALSO...

Tyrosinase Antibody (T311) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Tyrosinase protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Tyrosinase (T311) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tyrosinase (TYR) is a type I membrane protein and copper-containing enzyme that plays a crucial role in melanin production, the primary pigment in vertebrates. Melanin biogenesis protects skin and eyes from UV radiation, and Tyrosinase catalyzes the critical and rate-limiting step of tyrosine hydroxylation in melanin biosynthesis. Deficiencies in Tyrosinase activity can lead to various forms of albinism, highlighting its importance in pigmentation. Tyrosinase interacts with related proteins TRP1 and TRP2, which are also expressed in melanocytes and contribute to melanin synthesis within melanosomes. These proteins share a similar transmembrane structure, featuring two metal-binding regions and a cysteine-rich epidermal growth factor motif, and are localized in the melanosomal membrane. While forming a multi-enzyme complex that aggregates together, each protein has distinct catalytic activities that contribute to the overall biosynthesis of melanin biopolymers, with TRP1 playing a role in stabilizing Tyrosinase in melanocytes.

この抗体は、anti-mouse IgG (H+L)-HRPで検出できますか? 1次抗体1/500、2時抗体1/4000で、全くバンドが出ません。

Asked by: mouse1234
Thank you for your inquiry. Anti-mouse IgG (H+L)-HRP should work with sc-20035, which is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a. For your problem, I would like to recommend you to contact the seller to ask for the after-sales service, we will check more details and do what we can do for you. For more questions, please contact our Technical Service Department. Our Asian Technical Service team is available at (+86) 021-60936350 or asia@scbio.cn or by live chat on our website.

Can I use this mouse monoclonal antibody for immunohistochemical staining of mouse tissue? Or even double or triple staining on the same samples?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. Yes. We recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is currently available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-20035 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-20035 FITC), Alexa Fluor® 488 (sc-20035 AF488) or Alexa Fluor® 647 (sc-20035 AF647). Please contact Technical Service if you have further questions concerning this product.
