TTC30A/B Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TTC30A/B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTC30A/B (A-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TTC30A/B protein consists of 665 amino acids and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2q31.2, playing a crucial role in anterograde intraflagellar transport (IFT), a vital mechanism for cilia assembly and maintenance. This transport process is essential for proper cilia functioning, which are involved in various cellular signaling pathways and motility functions. TTC30A and TTC30B, both containing eight tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs, facilitate polyglutamylation of axonemal tubulin, a modification important for ciliary structure and function. TPR motifs, characterized by helix-turn-helix structure, enable protein-protein interactions, influencing ciliary assembly and maintenance dynamics. Anti-TTC30A/B antibody (A-10) effectively detects these proteins, serving as an invaluable tool for researchers studying ciliary function and related cellular processes.
