TSSK 6 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TSSK 6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TSSK 6 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TSSK 6 protein, also known as testis-specific serine kinase 6, SSTK, TSSK4, FKSG82, or CT72, is a 273 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in sperm production and chromatin remodeling, making TSSK 6 essential for male fertility. Located primarily in testis, with lower expression levels found in ovary, colon, thymus, small intestine, and spleen, TSSK 6 contains a protein kinase domain and is part of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. TSSK 6 is responsible for ATP-dependent phosphorylation of target proteins, a process vital for regulating various cellular functions, including cell division and apoptosis. TSSK 6 utilizes magnesium as a cofactor, which is critical for enzymatic activity. Deficiencies or mutations in the gene encoding TSSK 6 can lead to male infertility, characterized by low sperm count and reduced sperm motility, highlighting TSSK 6′s importance in reproductive health.
