    SEE ALSO...

TSC-22 D4 Antibody (JJ-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TSC-22 D4 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TSC-22 D4 antibody (JJ-2) is available as a non-conjugated format. TSC-22 D4, also known as transforming growth factor-beta-stimulated clone-22, plays a crucial role as a transcriptional regulator that modulates cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. TSC-22 D4 contains a leucine zipper domain and a nuclear export signal, which facilitate localization in the cytoplasm under normal conditions. During apoptosis, TSC-22 D4 translocates to the nucleus, where TSC-22 D4 exerts transcriptional regulatory functions. This dynamic localization underscores TSC-22 D4′s involvement in critical cellular processes, particularly in tumor suppression, given TSC-22 D4′s role as a downstream component in both the TGF-beta and PPARγ signaling pathways. Downregulation of TSC-22 mRNA in various cancer types highlights TSC-22 D4′s potential as an antiproliferative agent. TSC-22 D4, a 395 amino acid protein also referred to as TILZ2 and THG-1, functions primarily as a transcriptional repressor, making TSC-22 D4 an important target for research in cancer biology and therapeutic development.
