SEE ALSO...

Trypsin Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Trypsin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Trypsin (D-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Trypsin plays a crucial role in the digestive system by cleaving peptide bonds in proteins, thereby activating other digestive enzymes and facilitating the breakdown of dietary proteins into absorbable amino acids. This enzymatic activity is vital for proper nutrient absorption and overall digestive health. The human pancreas secretes three different isoforms of inactive trypsinogen into the small intestine, which are converted into active forms by Enterokinase. Mutations in the gene encoding Trypsin-1 that enhance activity are linked to autosomal dominant hereditary pancreatitis, a condition causing severe abdominal pain and other complications. Trypsin-3 is uniquely expressed in the brain, indicating potential roles beyond digestion, which may have implications for neurological health.

May I check the expression of trypsin-3 in Rat colonic tissue of IBS model?

Asked by: summer870211
Thank you for your question. Anti-Trypsin Antibody (D-1) is recommended for detection of Tryspin-1, Tryspin-2 and Tryspin-3 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA so it can be used to check expression of Trypsin in rat tissue samples.

May i check sc-516140 is compatible with sc-137077?

Asked by: Azrina
Thank you for your question. Yes, Trypsin Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a (kappa light chain), and therefore you can use our mouse IgG kappa binding protein (m-IgGκ BP) conjugated to fluorescein (FITC): sc-516140, as a secondary antibody for detection of this mouse monoclonal primary antibody with a kappa light chain.
