TrpRS Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TrpRS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TrpRS antibody (C-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase (TrpRS) plays a crucial role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the aminoacylation of tRNA with tryptophan, an essential amino acid. TrpRS (C-7) monoclonal antibody supports accurate translation of genetic information into proteins, which is fundamental for cellular function and growth. TrpRS exists in two forms: a cytoplasmic variant and a mitochondrial variant, with the latter being essential for mitochondrial protein synthesis. The gene encoding human TrpRS is located on chromosome 14q32.31, while the mitochondrial variant, WARS2, is found on chromosome 1p13.3-p13.1, where the first 18 amino acids serve as a mitochondrial localization signal. The presence of both full-length and truncated forms of TrpRS, particularly the mini TrpRS variant, which is upregulated by interferon-gamma, highlights TrpRS′s complex regulatory mechanisms and potential implications in angiogenesis and immune responses.
